Mine Geological Environment Monitoring and Risk Assessment in Arid and Semiarid Areas

Along with the accelerated shift of coal mining to ecologically fragile west, contradiction between resource development and ecological protection in western arid semiarid areas is rapidly intensifying. Based on above background, this thesis takes area regions as an example; applies theories ecology, subsidence, geodesy, restoration; uses remote sensing synthetic aperture radar (SAR), geographic information system (GIS), mathematical modelling reveal evolution law area; measures damage then proposes a reasonable restoration strategy. The surface deformation monitoring study shows that whole, some have different degrees subsidence disasters, maximum value exceeds 800 mm. From distribution area, disasters mainly occur eastern central mountainous rich resources, well west Yellow River, basins are distributed series irregular concentric ovals. In terms scale total 230.03 km2 land showed hazards during period, accounting for 13.78% which severe was 44.98 (2.69%). more serious 101.33 (6.07%), affected by 83.72 (5.01%).
